Kobbywest represents in DC Boy

All the way from Accra in Ghana (West Africa) we find a new school rapper by the name Kobbywest. The young West African rapper is hard at work as he does his best to grow his brand one song at a time. Already with a couple of releases and performances it’s evident the love for music is there. One such song which has managed to get him lots of attention even online radio stations globally seem to be navigating to is DC Boy. The song has that new school rap vibe and with his vocal blend it easily stands out to shine potential on this young rapper.

For those not in the know, DC is an acronym for Dansoman Community a place in Accra (Ghana). Kobbywest in the song DC Boy he is talking about how the men or in this instance “boys” get money, work hard and get down. So if you want to understand or know how DC Boy’s get down and be about, you need to watch this video and get schooled by DC’s finest himself Kobbywest. After all, this is what Hip Hop is all about right? Representing where you from and letting people know what’s up in your hood.
